This new initiative combines the best elements of both events and is designed to be more impactful, inclusive, and better aligned with the feedback and ideas you have provided us. It will expand our reach, elevate our impact, and better serve homeowners in need of critical home repairs and safety modifications.

The Revitalize Project was created to let you choose whom you want to serve, when and where you want to do these critical repairs. This is your chance to lean into what matters most to your team — whether it’s supporting a specific homeowner (such as a low-income senior, veteran, or person living with a disability), choosing a particular neighborhood, focusing on long-term impact, and/or aligning the day with your company's core values. Your company has full control to build and customize this day in a way that is most meaningful to you - the decisions are yours.
Revitalize Milwaukee requires 30 days from the confirmation of the requested event date to finalize all details of your Revitalize Project day. Partnerships between companies to sponsor homes are highly encouraged.

2. Confirm with Revitalize Milwaukee
After submission, you will receive a call from our Director of Development and Marketing, Fran, to confirm your date, details, and sponsorship level. Contact: Francine@rtmilwaukee.org
3. All systems go — this day is yours to make.
Your team captain will develop a scope of work with Revitalize Milwaukee construction specialist, meet the homeowner, and complete a walkthrough prior to your Revitalize Project date. Pull your team together (all skill levels welcome), and plan for a meaningful and impactful day.

Network Health transformed the Wonders home in just one day
When the Wonders bought their home in The Strand neighborhood of Waukesha, they knew it would need some work. Over the years, they welcomed a new baby and raised their son to adulthood—but as time passed, the list of critical repairs grew beyond what they could afford or manage on their own.
Without the financial resources or ability to address these critical issues, their home became increasingly unsafe. But thanks to Network Health and Revitalize Milwaukee, their home finally received the care it desperately needed—all in a single day. Volunteers installed new doors, repaired window frames, and addressed major safety concerns in the bathroom, basement, and landscaping, helping the Wonders feel safe and supported in the place they’ve long called home.

On Friday, August 15th, thanks to the support of some of our city’s biggest and most generous partners, we completed critical repairs on two homes in Burnham Park. These repairs weren’t just about fixing steps or plumbing—they were about restoring safety, dignity, and hope for two families in our community.
We’re deeply grateful to the organizations that stepped up to make this possible. Your commitment to making a tangible difference is a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we come together.
But the need doesn’t stop here. Across our city, too many homes remain unsafe, and too many neighbors are still waiting for help. We need more companies—more leaders—to step forward, invest in community resilience, and join us in making sure every family has a safe place to call home.
